Student Film Project Honorable Mention: Garden for Ghana from GLP Films.

The Garden for Ghana club at Los Gatos High works hand-in-hand with the California Native Garden Foundation to help raise money and design garden plots for Yamoransa, a village in Ghana, Africa. Through their efforts to improve the environment there, they have been able to fund and make possible the First Pilot Project in Yamoransa, which began to improve issues such as soil erosion, deforestation, and habitat destruction around the village. For more information, check out their club website from the 2013-2014 school year: https://sites.google.com/site/agardenforghanaprojectclub/

We need more help making the Second Pilot Project possible and continuing on to improve the lives of villagers in this village in Ghana! To learn more, get involved, and find ways to help out
