1/2 cup butter
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup acorn flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup pine nuts, hazelnuts, or black walnuts, chopped and toasted
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a pan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat on the stove.
- Remove from heat and stir well.
- Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and dry ingredients.
- Spread into a well greased 9″ x 12″ or 8″ x 10″ pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Do not overbake.
