When your garden becomes a Certified Distinguished Native Garden, you have some options for how you would like to show off your achievement to your friends, neighbors, and passersby.

Option 1

A Distinguished California Native Garden Certificate in a horizontal format suitable for framing (8 1/2″ x 11″), or a vertical format (11″ x 8 1/2″) to add to your photo album or garden binder. $20.

Option 2

A Distinguished California Native Garden banner, washable, 18″ x 18″; the image shows through on back side; pole pocket for hanging. Manufactured by a locally owned green certified business. Choice of two designs, California Native Grassland or Oak Woodland. Comes with hand-forged stand. $95.

Option 2 includes a certificate as described in Option 1.

Option 3

A Distinguished California Native Garden sign made of Bio-board, 18″ x 18″, image printed on both sides, Bio-board is resistant to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, and with thoughtful use, will last outdoors five years or more without fading. Comes with hand-forged stand. $135.

Option 3 includes a certificate as described in Option 1.

Hand-forged Garden Stand

The garden stand (18″ wide x 3′ high) is included to display the banner or the sign for maximum show-off benefit! The banner or sign hangs from the 18-inch arm, as shown. Two pointed iron tines extend 6 inches into the ground for stability. The simple, elegant design was hand-forged exclusively for the Distinguished Native Garden Certification program by a local blacksmith.
