Aaron Majors, an Owner and the Construction Department Manager at Cagwin & Dorward, has led his team to build estate, commercial, and public projects throughout Northern California since 1996. In September, 2011, Aaron joined the Board of Directors for the Bay Friendly Landscaping & Gardening Regional Coalition. Aaron earned a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly SLO, is a Landscape Industry Certified Manager & Technician, and a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor.
Throughout his career, he has overseen the sales development and project management of over $60M in landscape construction. Notable projects include a renovation of Sunset Publishing’s Gardens in Menlo Park, award-winning estates in Napa, the Honey Bee Haven at UC Davis, and Harbor Bay Medians renovation, the largest sheet mulching project in the Bay Area and a Bay Friendly-rated project.
He believes successful projects are built on collaborative relationships and through balancing budget, craftsmanship, and schedule. Bay Friendly and other sustainable landscapes have been a new venture for him and part of Cagwin & Dorward’s transition to “Become part of the solution…” Aaron has a passion for building landscapes by creating an enjoyable customer experience.
Dave has been in the landscape industry since 1983. He is a sustainable garden & landscape expert and devotes his time to researching, educating, and promoting good land stewardship practices. He is experienced in solving landscape problems, knowledgeable in horticulture, and passionate about landscape ecology.
