Ghana Update

The Ghana Project was at the top of the agenda for the teams at CNGF these last few weeks. In late May CNGF president Alrie Middlebrook will be traveling to meet with the Ghanaians to help them build a sustainable and productive garden.

To help fund this project, the CNGf will be hosting a fundraiser at Los Gatos High School, with the goal being at least $2000 dollars for the local people. The students at Los Gatos High are the primary partner in this endeavor; they are have been working with the Ghanaians to design the sustainable gardens. Unfortunately. the students of Los Gatos High are busy with their finals, so the CNGF interns and staff areĀ stepping up to help promote and plan the event.

In the meantime, grant submissions will be on hold while Alrie is in Africa, but the teams will stay busy laying the groundwork for a submission to the Mitsubishi Foundation.
