Money from this fund goes directly to the California Native Garden Foundation to support design, build, maintain and teaching costs in our public school teaching garden program. Please contact us if you would like this donation to go toward a specific school. CNGF is a recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible.
Please make a contribution. Our goal is to raise $2k for this round of improvements. This will help build fences, buy trees plus purchase other food and medicinal plants for more garden plots. Here are some examples of what your contributions can make happen:
$50 — Buys fencing for half a garden
$75 — Feeds 50 local people at a community event to teach composting and learn about nutrition by eating food from the garden.
$100 — Buys fencing for a whole garden
$200 — Rents a truck for a week to haul manure and garden waste that is used to compost several garden beds.
$500 – Provides food and lodging for four college intern workers over a one week period to help the villagers build and manage the construction.
