Three standard shipping containers are modified to create a classroom and dormitory complex. The lower level accommodates seminars and small lectures. The middle and top levels provide living quarters for interns and includes a small kitchenette and rooftop garden area. A windmill contributes power for the unit, supplemented by the on-site solar farm.
This cut-away view shows the classroom, upstairs quarters, and kitchen.
Internships are approximately one month long and entail teaching responsibilites, as well as maintenance duties.
